Look Ahead: Georgia Southern
This upcoming Saturday UNC will be facing Georgia Southern at 3 30 in Chapel Hill. Georgia Souther in from The SOCON conference which is the same conference as Citadel, Appalachian State, and Charelston Southern. Georgia Southern is 3-2 coming into Saturday's game losing to South Dakota State and Elon, but they are a very good football team. Look for two very good offensive weapons for the Eagles in their star quarterback and wide reciever. Their quarterback Lee Chapel is a veteran who likes to throw to his number one target J. Valentine. On the defensive side of the ball watch out for their leading tackler in solo tackles and overall in number 33 Dion Dubose. This Saturday the Tar Heels will have a decent test to see if the offense can move the ball down the field against a medicore defense. I am sure the Heels are very determined to get a win and maybe even to get back into the top 25 and start competing in the ACC. This could be a good positive for our team this is a good way to bounce back from two horrible displays of offense, and finally show all of the people out there that we can play and that we can win games and get back on track. This will be a good game for us to try to come back and hopefully get back on track.

Trying To Recover
Over the past couple of weeks there has been a variety of different injurys from the offensive line to our star tight end. Hopefully these injurys will no longer be a problem, because with these important players we were playing alot better as an offense. For offense to function properly we need our offensive line back to protect TJ Yates and to make holes for our running game to get going. Hopefully with a FCS team coming to Chapel Hill saturday and a bye week after that it will be enough time for our whole team to regroup and start playing like we did before the Georgia Tech game. This week is a great opportunity for our offense to come together and really get their stride going and get some points on the board. Hopefully, Shaun Draughn will be able to get back into the swing of things and start getting some production on the ground and become the great runner that we all know that he can be. If the offensive line gets healthy and Zack Pinalto gets better than I think better days are to come for our football team. Hopefully this week will be a much better week for our offense to regroup and get some production and to get some points on the board.

Unfortunate Trouble
On Saturday UNC took on UVA the heels were a 17 point favorite, but that did not prove true at all. The Tar Heels offense had no improvement what so ever, the heels had only 32 rushing yards which is about 70 yards less than UVA's running back. This game was a horrible showing of our offensive ability eventhough we are still young the Cavaliers were second worst in scoring defense, but we only put up three points. The offensive line took another injury late in the game when veteran left tackle Kyle Jolly went down this is the fifth time we have had a problem with a offensive linemen. One thing is for sure John Shoop needs to make some big adjustments in the offense and if he doesn't some people may be calling his name to be fired. TJ Yates needs to step up and be the veteran leader that we know he can be. The offense will have a easy test next Saturday when Georgia Southern comes to town this game could not have come at a better time and thankfully we have a bye the next week this should be plenty of time for the offense to come together and regroup.
